Career

society

Zajac is best known from his time at FK Dukla Banská Bystrica , whose goal he guarded in 141 games over twelve years and where he spent seven years as a youth player. With this club he rose to the Slovak 1st league in 2003 , reached the runner-up title in 2004 and won the Slovak Cup in 2005 . It was thanks to him that Dukla Banská Bystrica took part in the UEFA Cup in the 2004/05 and 2005/06 seasons. From 2008 to 2010 Zajac played at another Slovak first division club, the MFK Dubnica , where he completed all 33 games in the 2008/09 season. In winter 2010 he joined Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała and made a decisive contribution in the second half of the season to the fact that the club could keep the class: he kept his box clean in 9 of 15 games, including six times in a row; he only conceded ten goals in total. In summer 2010 he extended his contract with the club until June 2012.

National team

Zajac played in an unofficial match between Slovakia and Kuwait in 2006 (2-0). In addition, he was in the national team in 2004, but was not used in any game.
