Richdale is an unincorporated community in Otter Tail County in Minnesota , United States .
Richdale was founded in 1899 and named after Watson Wellman Rich, a railroad engineer. North of Richdale is Big Pine Lake . Neighboring towns are Perham (9.6 km northwest) and New York Mills (8.8 km southeast).
The area can be reached via the four-lane US Highway 10 .
