Rick Ducommun
Richard "Rick" Ducommun (born July 3, 1952 in Prince Albert , Saskatchewan , † June 12, 2015 in Vancouver ) was a Canadian actor and comedian.
Life
Ducommun played his first role in the Canadian children's series Zig Zag . He became more famous for the role of Tom Hanks' neighbor in My Devilish Neighbors . He was also seen in small cameo roles in numerous other well-known films such as Mel Brooks' Spaceballs , Gremlins 2 - The Return of the Little Monsters and the action films Die Hard , Hunt for Red October and Last Action Hero by John McTiernan . His filmography includes around 50 film and television productions. He last appeared as an actor in 2004.
Ducommun died on June 12, 2015 at the age of 62 in a hospice in Vancouver of complications from diabetes .
