Ricky Dietz is a duo founded in 2019, consisting of Peter Fox and Sway Clarke.

Musicians Peter Fox and Toronto- born Sway Clarke had been working on songs together for a long time and began releasing them in 2019. Sway Clarke does the singing part. The duo is supported by the producer Cracker Mallo. The project title Ricky Dietz is intended to illustrate the contrast between different cultures with two stereotypical names; According to Peter Fox, the surname "Dietz" is a tribute to the football player Bernard Dietz from MSV Duisburg .

Musically, Ricky Dietz moves in the areas of Afrobeat , Hip-Hop , Dancehall and R'n'B . On their debut single "Lemonade Drip" electronic sounds meet reggae rhythms, on the second single "Flex Pon You" they combine West African Shaku rhythms and Berlin sample culture with pointed puns.

The duo made their first appearances in 2019 at the Summerjam , the Juicy Beats and the Pangea Festival. In the same year it was the Support Act at five Seeed concerts. A performance at the Eurosonic Festival is announced for 2020 .
