Ridley Pearson

Ridley Pearson (born March 13, 1953 in Glen Cove , Long Island , New York ) is an American writer . He lives in St. Louis , Missouri with his wife Marcelle and two daughters.

Life

Pearson was born to Robert and Betsy Pearson and grew up in Riverside Connecticut. He attended the University Of Kansas and Brown University .

Pearson wrote many novels a. a. The First Sacrifice (1999) and Above the Abyss (2002). His best-known series of novels is set in Seattle and revolves around Detective Lou Boldt and police psychologist Daphne Matthews. In 2002 he wrote the prequel for Stephen King's miniseries Stephen King's House of Damnation under the title The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer. My life on "Rose Red" appeared. The novel was made into a film by Craig R. Baxley a year later (see The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer ).

Pearson is also the bass guitarist in the rock band "Rock Bottom Remainders", in which mainly writers like Stephen King or Mitch Albom play .
