Ridvan Balci (born September 29, 1993 in Gelsenkirchen , Germany ) is a Turkish - German soccer player . The midfielder is under contract with FSV Duisburg .

Career

Balci started playing football in 2000 in his hometown at the DJK Blau-Weiß Gelsenkirchen . From 2002 to 2006 he played for DJK Westfalia 04 Gelsenkirchen and then went to Rot-Weiss Essen . In 2010 he moved to the Knappenschmiede of FC Schalke 04 , with whom he won the German A-Junior Championship in the 2011/12 season. After the end of his A-youth time, he came on April 14, 2012 in the 1: 2 defeat in the home game against SC Verl for his only appearance for the second team of Schalke in the Regionalliga West . For the 2012/13 season Balci moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach , for whose second team he also played in the Regionalliga West. Balci has been under contract with VfL Bochum since July 2013 . There, too, he is mostly used for the second team in the Regionalliga West. On April 18, 2015, he played for the first team for the first time and made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2-1 defeat at TSV 1860 Munich .

After his contract in Bochum had expired, he joined the top division black and white Essen for the 2015/16 season . After the first half of the season, in which he made ten missions with four goals, Balci moved to regional division TuS Erndtebrück . In the 2016/17 season he played for the second team of Fortuna Düsseldorf . In July 2017, Balci moved to the sixth division TSV Meerbusch , with whom he made promotion to the top division during the season. In January 2020 Balci was signed by the FSV Duisburg .
