The Rifflkarspitze is a 3219 m high mountain in the Ötztal Alps in Tyrol . It is located in the main ridge of the Glockturmkamm , between Rotschragenjoch and Riffljoch. Both yokes are transitions between the Kaunertal in the east and the Radurschltal in the west, a side valley of the Inn valley that branches off at Pfunds . At the summit, a longer side ridge branches off from the main ridge, this initially runs to the east, then to the northeast. With Höhlenspitze (3200 m), Kaisergratspitze (3215 m), Halsle (2866 m), Gratfernerköpfle (3003 m) and Plangerossspitze (2943 m), further peaks tower up in this ridge.
The easiest ascent leads from the Riffljoch (3146 m) over the south ridge in a quarter of an hour. This easy route leads over the flat ridge north over scree to the summit. The Riffljoch can be reached from the Hohenzollernhaus in the west in 3 hours, but this ascent leads over the Hüttekarferner to the yoke and requires appropriate equipment. Alternatively, the yoke can be reached from the Kaunertal in the east. It takes 3½ hours from the Gepatschhaus and 2½ hours from the Riffltal car park .
