The Rifugio Crête Sèche is a refuge in the Aosta Valley in the Valais Alps . It is located at an altitude of 2,410  m in the Valpelline side valley in the Berrio del Governo district within the municipality of Bionaz . The hut is open from the middle of March to the beginning of May and from the beginning of June to the end of September and offers 72 mountaineers sleeping places.

The hut is located within the Comba di Crête Sèche high valley, the head of which is the Col de Crête Sèche pass . You can descend over the pass to the Swiss Val de Bagnes . The Berrio del Governo is a large boulder .

Ascent

The ascent to the hut begins in the Rû district ( 1696  m )

The entire route from the car park at Rû to the Rifugio Crête Sèche, which is not difficult, takes about 2 hours. Alternatively, the Chez-les-Chenaux hut can be climbed within 2½ hours.
