Rimantas Mikaitis
Rimantas Mikaitis (born July 10, 1959 in Kuršėnai ) is a Lithuanian liberal politician , former mayor of Kaunas .
Life
After graduating from high school, Mikaitis graduated from the Kauno politechnikos institutas with a degree in civil engineering in 1983 . From 2007 to 2011 he was deputy mayor and from April 14, 2011 to October 2011, mayor of the municipality of Kaunas . Since 2006 he has been a member of Lietuvos Respublikos liberalų sąjūdis .
Mikaitis is married to his wife Giedrė. Her children are Marijona's son and Rasa daughter.
