Rinat Raschidowitsch Ibragimow ( Russian Ринат Рашидович Ибрагимов ; born March 7, 1986 in Magnitogorsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Kunlun Red Star in the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Rinat Ibragimow began his career as a hockey player at HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk , with which he became Russian champion for the first time in 2007 . In addition, the left-handed shooter won the IIHF European Champions Cup with Metallurg in 2008 , in the final of which he and his team prevailed 5-2 against Czech rivals HC Sparta Prague . In the 2005/06 season he was on the ice nine times for the HK Lada Tolyatti and returned to his hometown in 2006.

Between 2008 and 2010 Ibragimow completed over 80 games in the Continental Hockey League for Metallurg, which was founded in 2008 , before moving to HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk within the KHL in October 2010 .

In May 2013 he received another contract with his parent club for a period of two years and won the KHL championship trophy , the Gagarin Cup , with Metallurg in 2014 .
