Rita Calderoni

Rita Calderoni (born February 22, 1946 in Rossiglione ) is a former Italian actress .

Life

Calderoni attended classes in classical dance in Genoa for around five years , moved with her family to Udine for employment reasons, and there became a pillar of the city 's women's basketball team . She made her acting debut in 1967 in an unpublished film by her discoverer Sergio Pastore and starred in more than thirty films by 1979. In addition to at most second-rate and low-budget works (several times under Renato Polselli , by Luigi Batzella or Amasi Damiani ) Calderoni was also hired by some of the most important directors. She played under Elio Petri , Ettore Scola and Eriprando Visconti . Although she never became known to a wider audience, over the years she was able to acquire the status of a cult star. From 1973 she was married to Giancarlo Callarà for some time. In some films she was led under the pseudonym Rita Caldanà . In 1979 she ended her career, although some films were not released until later.
