Sergio Pastore
Sergio Pastore (born November 25, 1932 in Cosenza , † September 24, 1987 in Rome ) was an Italian film director , screenwriter and film producer .
Pastore came to Naples from his hometown at a young age , where he later studied law but soon turned to journalism . He worked u. a. conducted interviews for Paese Sera and with numerous important people. After moving to Rome, he devoted himself to film journalism. Pastore founded the production company “Mezzogiorno Nuovo d'Italia” in the mid-1960s, with which he produced around fifteen films by the time he died, which he wrote and directed himself and in which his second wife Giovanna Lenzioften played the main role. The films were of average craftsmanship and at best were distributed regionally; Pastore served the most popular genres.
In his first marriage Pastore was with dancer Aïché Nana been married.
