Rita Marquard
Rita Marquard ( Rita-Maria Marquard ; born March 20, 1967 ) is a former German medium and long-distance runner .
Over 1500 meters she was German runner-up in the open air in 1989 and 1990 and in the hall in 1990. At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1989 in The Hague, she was eliminated in the preliminary run.
Over 3000 meters she became German indoor champion in 1992 and won bronze at the European Indoor Championships in Genoa .
Rita Marquard initially started for the LC Olympiapark Munich and switched to TSV 1860 Munich in 1992 .
