The River Bois Marigot ( French swamp forest river ) is a river in the east of Dominica in the Parish Saint David .

geography

The River Bois Marigot is a source stream of Saint Sauveur River in the crater of Saint Sauveur . The main source rises in the southwest of the crater, at one of the highest peaks of the ridge ( Quarantine ), probably from the same aquifer as the Ravine Fille , as well as the Sourischol River , the Vio River , which, however, belong to different river systems ( Castle Bruce River , respectively Rosalie River ). It describes a south curve to the northeast, where it merges with the Ravine Fille at Saint Sauveur Estate and forms the Saint Sauveur River. The river is about 3.7 km long.
