Duczów Mały ( German Klein Deutschen ) is a place of Gmina Wołczyn in the Opole Voivodeship in Poland .

geography

Duczów Mały is located in the northwestern part of Upper Silesia in the Kreuzburger Land. The village of Duczów Mały is located around nine kilometers west of the municipality seat Wołczyn , around 23 kilometers northwest of the district town of Kluczbork and around 56 kilometers northeast of the voivodeship capital Opole .

The village is located on the Droga Krajowa 42 national road and on the Kluczbork – Wrocław railway line .

Neighboring towns of Duczów Mały are in the northwest Dziedzice ( Dziedzitz ), in the northeast Duczów Wielki ( Great Germans ), in the east Wierzbica Górna ( Polish Würbitz ) and in the southwest Wielołęka ( Bachwitz ).

South of the village is to be Duczów Mały belonging Weiler Jedliska ( fir ).

history

In 1845 the village consisted of a castle and another 18 houses. In the same year, 182 people lived in Klein Germans, 84 of them Protestants. In 1874 the district of Polish Würbitz was founded, to which Klein Deutschen belonged.

In 1933, 143 people lived in Klein Germans, and in 1939 again 129 people. Until 1945 the village belonged to the Kreuzburg OS district

As a result of the Second World War, Klein Deutschen fell under Polish administration in 1945, like most of Silesia . Subsequently, the place was renamed Duczów Mały and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 it was incorporated into the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the newly founded Powiat Kluczborski ( Kreuzburg district ).
