The Fuchte Kallenbeck nature reserve (BOR) is located in the municipality of Heek in the Borken district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends northeast of the core town of Heek and northeast of the Heek district of Nienborg directly on the L 573 state road , which runs past the western edge. The L 574 and the A 31 run to the west . The Hellingbach and the Herzbach flow through the area. To the east, the Strönfeld nature reserve extends over 248.8 hectares (see list of nature reserves in the Steinfurt district ).
meaning
An area of 187.63 hectares is designated as a nature reserve for Heek under the identification number BOR-020K1. The area was placed under protection to preserve the habitat.
The nature reserve is part of the European bird sanctuary " Feuchtwiesen im northern Münsterland ".
