The Eper-Graeser Venn nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the cities of Ahaus and Gronau in the Borken district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It is named after Graes , the southern district of Ahaus, and after Epe , the northeastern district of Gronau.

The area, which consists of four sub-areas, extends north of the core town of Ahaus and southwest of the core town of Gronau. The state road L 566 runs to the north and the L 560 to the southwest. The B 70 and the state border with the Netherlands runs to the west, and the A 31 runs to the east . To the west is the 8.93 km² nature reserve Amtsvenn - Hündfelder Moor .
