history

The village of Brinitze was first mentioned as Sbrziecinky in 1485 .

In 1845 the village consisted of an estate, an evangelical school and another 31 houses. In the same year, 284 people lived in Brinitze, 17 of them Catholic. In 1874 the district of Wundschütz was founded, which also included Brinitze.

As a result of the Second World War, in 1945, like most of Silesia , Kiefernhain fell under Polish administration. The place was subsequently renamed Brynica and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 it was incorporated into the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the newly founded Powiat Kluczborski ( Kreuzburg district ).
