Świniary Małe ( German Klein Blumenau , until 1894 Klein Schweinern ) is a place of Gmina Wołczyn in the Opole Voivodeship in Poland .

Geographical location
Świniary Małe is located in the northwestern part of Upper Silesia in the Kreuzburger Land. The village Świniary Małe is located about ten kilometers northwest of the municipality seat Wołczyn , about 24 kilometers northwest of the district town of Kluczbork and about 57 kilometers north of the voivodeship capital Opole .
The Czarna Woda ( black water ) flows through the village .

history
In 1417 the village is first mentioned as possessed by Sweiners .
In 1845 the village consisted of a Protestant school and another 20 houses. In the same year, 186 people lived in Klein Schweinern, 44 of them Catholic. In 1861 149 people lived in Klein Schweinern. In 1874 the district of Deutsch Würbitz was founded, which also included Klein Schweinern. In 1885 173 people lived in the village. Around 1894 the village was renamed Klein Blumenau .
In 1933 91 people lived in Klein Blumenau, and in 1939 again 82 people. Until 1945 the village belonged to the Kreuzburg OS district
As a result of the Second World War, Klein Blumenau fell under Polish administration in 1945, like most of Silesia . The place was subsequently renamed Świniary Małe and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 it was incorporated into the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the newly founded Powiat Kluczborski ( Kreuzburg district ).
