history
The place name is derived from the Polish word Wąsy . The Slavic name Wąsice therefore means Bartdorf .

As a result of the Second World War, Wundschütz fell under Polish administration in 1945, like most of Silesia . The place was subsequently renamed Wąsice and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 it was incorporated into the Opole Voivodeship. The estate in Wundschutz, built in the middle of the 19th century, remained unscathed during the war. In 1960 it is still described in the monument register of the Opole Voivodeship. It was later demolished to extract building material. The Church of St. Anna was built between 1983 and 1986. 1999 Wąsice came to the newly founded Powiat Kluczborski ( Kreuzburg district ).
