The River Glyme is a watercourse in Oxfordshire , England . It arises east of Chipping Norton and initially flows in an easterly direction. At the settlement of Radford the river direction changes to a southerly direction, in which it flows to its confluence with the River Evenlode southwest of Bladon .

The River Glyme flows through several dammed lakes at Old Chalford , Clevely , Kiddington and Glympton . In the park of Blenheim Palace it is dammed into a lake, the northern part of which is known as Queens Pool and the southern part of which is known as The Lake .

The River Glyme divides into several arms between the mouth of the River Dorn and Woodstock .
