The River Rivière au Caribou ( Caribou French for caribou ) is a river in the west of the Labrador Peninsula in the Canadian province of Québec .

The river has its source west of Lac à l'Eau Claire . It flows in a westerly direction through the Canadian Shield to the inland bay Lac Guillaume-Delisle , in the middle part of which it flows. The Rivière du Nord runs north of the Rivière au Caribou. The Rivière au Caribou has a length of 79 km and flows through the Parc national Tursujuq . The catchment area covers 1114 km².
