The Rivière aux Rochers ( French for "rocky river") is a river in the administrative region of Côte-Nord in the Canadian province of Québec .
The Rivière aux Rochers is a 161 km long river in the south of the Labrador Peninsula , which has its origin in Lac Trouvé and flows mainly in a southerly direction. It flows through the lake Petit Lac du Nord and the elongated lake Lac Walker . The right tributary Rivière Schmon also flows into the Lac Walker. The Rivière MacDonald meets the Rivière aux Rochers on the right below Lac Walker. The last 40 km below Lac Walker the Rivière aux Rochers turns to the east and flows into the Saint Lawrence Gulf at Port-Cartier . Above its mouth, the river overcomes the Chien Blanc and Chute des Noyés waterfalls . In the estuary area, the Rivière Dominique meets the river from the east.
