Chute MacDonald

The Rivière MacDonald is a right tributary of the Rivière aux Rochers in the administrative region of Côte-Nord in the Canadian province of Québec .

The Rivière MacDonald flows through the MRC Sept-Rivières in the south of the Labrador Peninsula in a southerly direction. It has its origin south of the Lac du Nord-Est . The Rivière Pentecôte runs to the west and the elongated lake Lac Walker to the east . In the lower reaches, the Rivière MacDonald turns to the east, takes the Rivière Ronald on the left, flows through the northern end of the Lac Quatre Lieues and finally flows south of the Lac Walker into the Rivière aux Rochers. The Rivière MacDonald has a length of about 100 km.

The river was named after Ian MacDonald.
