The Rivière du Moulin ( French for " Mill River") is a right tributary of the Rivière Saguenay in the Canadian province of Québec .

The Rivière du Moulin has its source in the Réserve faunique des Laurentides about 50 km south of Saguenay . From there it flows mainly in a northerly direction. It finally flows into Rivière-du-Moulin , an eastern suburb of Chicoutimi , in the Rivière Saguenay. The river has a length of 88 km. Its narrow, elongated catchment area , which borders on that of the Rivière à Mars in the east and that of the Rivière Chicoutimi in the west, covers 373 km². There are numerous rapids and waterfalls along the river. The river owes its name to a sawmill that used to be located on the river.
