Rob Havenstein (* 13. May 1992 in Mount Airy , Maryland ) is an American American Footballer in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Los Angeles Rams as an offensive tackle .

Career

Havenstein played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers of the University of Wisconsin-Madison . In the 2015 NFL Draft , Havenstein was selected in the 2nd round in 57th place by the Los Angeles Rams , then still St. Louis Rams. In his rookie - season he played in 13 games for the Rams. After its first season, the Rams moved to Los Angeles . In his second and third year in the professional league, he completed 15 games each in the regular season. In his third season ( 2017 ) Havenstein reached the play-offs for the first time with the Rams. However, they were subject to the Atlanta Falcons in the first game. In 2018 , Havenstein played for the first time in all 16 regular season games. He also won the NFC Championship Game with his team and thus reached the Super Bowl . The Rams could not win Super Bowl LIII : They were defeated by the New England Patriots 3:13. After the season, Havenstein's rookie contract ran out. His contract with the Rams was extended a year earlier. He was awarded a new four-year contract worth $ 32.5 million .
