Rob Tielman

Rob Tielman (born August 19, 1946 in Hilversum ) is a Dutch sociologist , author and university professor .

Life

Tielman was born in Hilversum in 1946. After finishing school he studied sociology in Utrecht . After completing his studies, he embarked on a university career and was employed as a professor for sociology at the University of Utrecht . Tielman authored several books in the field of sociology. Tielman also writes articles for the Dutch LGBT magazine Gay Krant and is involved in the Dutch LGBT organization COC Nederland . Tielman is married and has several foster children with his husband.
