Robenílson Vieira de Jesus (born September 24, 1987 in Salvador da Bahia ) is a Brazilian boxer. De Jesus was a participant of the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing and 2012 in London .

Career

National

In 2006 de Jesus took part in the Brazilian men's championships for the first time and immediately became runner-up in the flyweight division . In 2007 he was able to win the bantamweight championship and repeated this success in 2008 and 2009. Since 2010 he has not participated in the national championships.

International

In 2007 de Jesus first took part in the Pan American Games in 2007 , but had to admit defeat in the first fight Alexander Gueracuco, Venezuela (16:14). The following year he took part in the American qualifying tournament in Guatemala City for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing .
