Robert Arrak (born April 1, 1999 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian ice hockey player who has been playing for Vaasan Sport in the Liiga , Finland's top division, and the A-Junior SM-liiga since 2018 .

Career

Robert Arrak began his career with HC Unistars Tallinn in the city of his birth. At the age of 14 he moved to the Espoo Blues in Finland, where he went through all junior teams from C to A youth. In November 2016 he moved to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the United States Hockey League , where he ended the season. He then returned to Finland and played for Jokerit in the A-Junioren-SM-liiga as well as on loan for Kiekko-Vantaa in the men's Mestis . He has been under contract with Vaasan Sport since 2018 and plays there in both the Liiga and the A-Junioren-SM-liiga.

International

In the junior division, Arrak played in Division II at the U18 World Cup in 2014, as well as in the U20 World Cup in 2015 , 2016 and 2017 .

For the Estonian men , Arrak took part for the first time in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang . He later played at the 2017 and 2018 World Championships in Division I.
