Robert Bail

Robert Bail (born October 24, 1823 in Glogau , † July 21, 1870 ibid) was a Silesian railway director and politician.

Life

Robert Bail attended grammar school in Glogau and the Berlin building academy . From 1849 to 1857 he was employed in various railway constructions and then became operational director of the Lower Silesian Branch Railway Company in Glogau. During the German War in 1866 he was the technical chief of the field railway division of the Prussian Main Army.

From 1867 until his death he was a member of the constituency of Liegnitz 3 ( Glogau ) in the Reichstag of the North German Confederation . As a result, he was also a member of the Customs Parliament . He belonged to the National Liberal Party .
