Robert Claussen (born May 10, 1909 in Boppard ; † August 3, 1941 near Pawlowka / Ukraine) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending primary school and business school, Robert Claussen worked from 1927 to 1931 as a commercial clerk in an architect's office and in a cigar factory. After joining the NSDAP ( membership number 106.852) he headed the NSDAP local group in Boppard until 1932 . In 1931 he became a full-time employee in the district administration of Koblenz-Trier: first as district treasurer, then as district manager of the Koblenz district. Since 1931 he has also appeared as a Gau speaker for the NSDAP.

On November 15, 1934, Claussen became councilor of the city of Koblenz and later the NSDAP's representative for this city. On March 1, 1935, he was also appointed a member of the Provincial Council of the Rhine Province, in which he also held the office of secretary . He also held the office of assessor in the city administration court of Koblenz.

From March 1936 until his death in 1941, Claussen was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 21 (Koblenz-Trier) . After his death, his mandate was continued by Albert Urmes until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945 .

Claussen, who was awarded the Golden Party Badge of the NSDAP on January 30, 1938 , was drafted into the Wehrmacht in February 1940. He died in Ukraine after the German attack on the Soviet Union in August 1941.
