Robert David Hall (born November 9, 1947 in East Orange , New Jersey ) is an American actor .

Life

Robert David Hall graduated from UCLA with a degree in English Literature in 1971 . In 1978 he was involved in a serious car accident. Both of his legs had to be amputated because over 65% of his skin was burned. He has been using prostheses ever since. He has been married to his third wife, Judy Stearns, since 1999. From 1971 to 1974 he was married to Susan Petroni. His second marriage to Connie Cole had a son.

He had his first role in 1983 in the film The Bomb Shop . This was followed by several other films and numerous guest appearances on television series such as LA Law - Star Lawyers, Tricks, Trials , Beverly Hills, 90210 , A Wink des Heaven , A Touch Of Heaven , The West Wing - In the Center of Power and Practice - The Lawyers .

Since 2000 he has played in the successful television series CSI: Vegas . Actually, he should only appear in one of the first episodes of the series. However, his role was expanded and thus he became one of the main characters in the series from 2002. Due to the great success of this series, he became a passionate advocate of the interests of disabled actors.
