Robert Ehret

Robert Ehret (born July 19, 1925 in Mannheim ) is a former German bank manager and board member of Deutsche Bank .

Life

Robert Ehret, with a doctorate in banking law, was a member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Bank from 1970 to 1985 in the era of Alfred Herrhausen, succeeding Hans Feith . On May 14, 1985 Ehret became a member of the supervisory board of Deutsche Bank AG and, in particular, a member of the credit committee of the supervisory board. Ehret's successor on the board was Rolf-Ernst Breuer .

He was a board member at BASF , Bosch, John Deere, Otto GmbH, Ferrero, DLB and SALAMANDER GmbH.

Ehret had been on the supervisory board of the Hamburg-based magazine group Gruner + Jahr since 1973 and, in 1976, chairman of the supervisory board of the then largest private mortgage bank, Frankfurter Hypo.

As a capital market expert, Robert Ehret was nicknamed the “golden nose”.

He has been a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. since 1957. Churpfalz Mannheim in the CV .
