Robert Entress

Robert Entress (born June 2, 1851 in Rottenburg am Neckar ; † March 6, 1913 in Ellwangen (Jagst) ) was a Württemberg chief bailiff.

life and work

The son of a merchant attended high school in Rottweil. From 1870 to 1874 he studied criminal sciences in Tübingen. From 1874 to 1876 he worked as a trial trainee and actuarial administrator at various senior offices. In 1876 he became a clerk at the Geislingen regional office and in 1877 at the Biberach regional office . From 1883 to 1886 he worked as a collegiate helper in the government of the Danube district in Ulm and from 1886 to 1887 in the government of the Black Forest district in Reutlingen. From 1887 he headed the Oberamt Vaihingen , from 1889 to 1893 the Oberamt Künzelsau and from 1893 to 1896 the Oberamt Ellwangen. From 1886 to 1909 he was a councilor in the government of the Jagstkreis in Ellwangen. In 1909 Robert Entress retired.
