Robert Hettlage

Robert Hettlage (born July 24, 1943 in Königsberg ) is a German sociologist and professor at the University of Regensburg .

Hettlage studied economics , sociology and social philosophy at the University of Friborg ( Switzerland ) and received his doctorate in 1969. Dr. rer. pole. and in 1971 Dr. phil. Then he worked for a department store group in Zurich for a year . From 1972 to 1977 he was a research assistant at the Sociological Seminar of the University of Basel , where he qualified as a professor in 1978 ( Venia Legendi for Sociology). Until 1981 he taught at the University of Basel as a private lecturer . Since then he has been Professor of Sociology at the University of Regensburg and also took on a substitute professorship (winter semester 1988/89) at the University of Economics and Social Sciences St. Gallen (Switzerland) and visiting professorships at the Università degli Studi di Trento ( Italy ) and at the University of Basel.

Blanchett Lages research areas are: economic sociology , cultural sociology , development sociology , family sociology , cooperative - and Migration Research , European integration and the border area between social philosophy and sociological theory.

He is a member of both the Swiss Society for Sociology and the German Society for Sociology .
