Robert Keldorfer

Robert Keldorfer (born August 10, 1901 in Vienna , † September 13, 1980 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian composer, pianist and music director.

Life

Robert Keldorfer was the son of the choir conductor Viktor Keldorfer and studied at the Technical University and the Music Academy in Vienna . From 1925 to 1930 he was music director in Bielitz-Biala , Poland; Bruckner Conservatory director from 1930 to 1939 and director of the Carinthian State Conservatory from 1941 to 1966 .

His works include orchestral and chamber music, operas as well as songs and choral works.
