Robert Kutner

Robert Kutner (born April 11, 1867 in Ueckermünde , † October 5, 1913 in Berlin ) was a German urologist and publicist .

Live and act

Robert Kutner was born as the son of a general practitioner in Ueckermünde, studied medicine at the universities of Berlin , Kiel , and Freiburg and received his doctorate in Berlin in 1890. Kutner was a student of Max Nitze , Leopold von Dittel in Vienna and Felix Guyon in Paris.

In 1892 he settled in Berlin as a urologist and made services to asepsis in urology. He was particularly involved in the field of photography and cinematography of the urinary bladder and their use for advanced medical training .

From 1904 until his death, Kutner was editor-in-chief of the journal for medical advanced training, which was first published in 1904 .

In 1906 he became director of the Kaiserin-Friedrich-Haus for advanced medical training in Berlin, and also general secretary of the Prussian and international committees for advanced medical training.

With Ernst von Bergmann, Kutner is one of the co-founders of the medical training system in Germany.
