Robert Mandan

Robert Mandan (born February 2, 1932 in Clever , Missouri - † April 29, 2018 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor . He became famous for the role of Chester Tate in the sitcom Soap - Trautes Heim, produced from 1977 to 1981 .

Life

Robert Mandan was born in 1932 in the town of Clever, Christian County, Missouri . He made his television debut in 1958 in the role of David Allen in the series From These Roots , which he played until 1961. Mandans to other early performances, the role is one of businessman Sam Reynolds in the soap opera Search for Tomorrow in the years 1965 to 1970. Also in 1970 he made his debut on Broadway in the musical Applause alongside Lauren Bacall .
