action

Mona Stangley has taken over the Chicken Ranch brothel , which enjoys an outstanding reputation in Texas , from the former boss. She has had a long affair with Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd. When TV reporter Melvin P. Thorpe leads a crusade against the establishment, the sheriff puts his reputation on the line to save the ranch.

criticism

"If the story also contains a number of apt swipes at bourgeois hypocrisy, it is disappointing as a musical: the melodies are unimaginative and there are no brilliant songs," said the lexicon of international films .
