Robert Mittelbach

Robert Mittelbach (born May 11, 1855 , † February 21, 1916 in Radebeul ) was a German topographer and publisher of cartographic works.

Mittelbach was the owner of the graphic art institute "Globus" Dresden-Kötzschenbroda and of the cartographer. Establishment R. Mittelbach , both in Kötzschenbroda in the former Körnerstrasse 4 (today Ludwig-Jahn-Strasse 4, while No. 2 was privately inhabited by Max Mittelbach as co-owner), as well as by Mittelbach's publishing house in Leipzig . The spelling Mittelbachs Verlag also appears in the library catalogs as a misspelling Mittelbach Verlag . Mittelbach was an assessor in the main district of Dresden in Gau 21 (Saxony) of the German Cyclists' Association .

He was buried in a family grave at the Radebeul-West cemetery, in which, in addition to his wife and daughters, his sons-in-law, the architects and builders Edmund Kießling (1875–1948) and Max Grübler (1887–1951), are. His son Curt Mittelbach followed him as the editor of the map series.
