Robert Party

Robert Party (born April 17, 1924 in Marseille , † November 20, 2011 there ) was a French actor .

Life

Party began his acting career in the theater in 1945 alongside Jean Vilar . Over the decades he played numerous classics on many stages and at festivals. So he was u. a. engaged at the Théâtre de l'Œuvre Paris, the Théâtre antique d'Arles and the Théâtre Mouffetard ; in the 1980s he played several times alongside Robert Hossein , the decade later in Jean Anouilh's Eurydice and George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and - again with Hossein - in a stage version by Angélique .

Party has been a regular guest on television since 1964; often also here in plays that were arranged and recorded for the screen, but also in series such as The Adventures of Monsieur Vidocq . He only appeared occasionally for the cinema, several times in films by Henri Verneuil , such as The Snake (1973), I for Icarus (1979) and A Thousand Billion Dollar (1982). He was also active as a voice actor.
