Robert Schindler (lawyer)
Robert Schindler (born February 18, 1845 in Graz , † February 21, 1909 in Vienna ) was an Austrian lawyer and editor.
Life
Schindler was the son of Florian Schindler, the director of the Brno University of Technology . He studied law at the University of Vienna from 1863 to 1867 . After training in Vienna, Auspitz and Olomouc , he received his doctorate in 1873 and passed the lawyer examination in Brno in 1874 . From 1876 he worked as a lawyer in Vienna. He took on a number of offices in the bar , including from 1886 to 1888 in the Disciplinary Council. Schindler became a member of the Vienna District School Council in 1888 and in 1902 became its 1st deputy chairman. In addition, he was a member of the committee of the German School Association from 1895 to 1904 .
Schindler dedicated himself in particular to the introduction of a new code of civil procedure . From 1890 until his death he published the legal papers , together with Edmund Benedikt until 1904 , and was responsible for the editing.
