Robert Steegers

Robert Steegers (born December 16, 1968 in Hüls ) is a German writer and literary scholar .

life and work

Robert Steegers studied German , Catholic theology , philosophy and education at the University of Bonn . There he was in 2006 with a dissertation on the late works of Heinrich Heine Dr. phil. PhD.

In 1996 the volume of poetry "Das Ende vom Lied" was published, for which Steegers was awarded the Lower Rhine Literature Prize of the City of Krefeld in 1997 . This was followed in 1999 by a book about Weimar during the Goethe era, written together with the Bonn literary scholar Norbert Oellers .

After professional positions in adult education and cultural mediation as well as in science management, Steegers has been managing director of the Bonn Center for Teacher Training at the University of Bonn since 2011 .
