Theodor Pelster
Theodor Pelster (* 1937 in Krefeld ) is a German lecturer for teacher training events and author who mainly publishes school books for the subject German.
Career
Pelster studied and did his doctorate at the University of Bonn . From 1965 to 2001 he was a teacher for German , history and sports at the Fichte-Gymnasium Krefeld .
He led teacher training events and published articles on the didactics and methodology of German teaching in several specialist journals .
Theodor Pelster is the author of 17 titles in the key literature series by Reclam Verlag as well as several school books by Schwann Verlag ( bought by Cornelsen Verlag in 1985 ) and Bayerischer Schulbuch-Verlag (bsv).
Pelster was awarded the city seal of the city of Krefeld in 2010 and received the Rhineland thaler in 2011 .
