Robert Thurston
Robert Thurston (born October 28, 1936 in Lockport , New York ) is an American writer from the science fiction genre. He mainly writes scripts or he writes novel versions , whereby he brings the material of the film into book form in detail and unchanged.
In 1968 and 1970 Thurston was a participant in the renowned Clarion workshop for budding science fiction and fantasy authors, where he subsequently also worked as a lecturer. He wrote his most famous books on behalf of Glen A. Larson on the world-famous SciFi series Battlestar Galactica . He was also known as the co-author of Isaac Asimov Robot City: Robots and Aliens . In the early 1990s, Thurston wrote the Battletech novels for the game of the same name. In 1992 he wrote the book for the film 1492 - Conquest of Paradise . Thurston wrote his last book for the time being in 1999 from the Battletech series: Falcon Rising: Twilight of the Clans 8 .
