Robert Léon Wattebled (born June 5, 1946 in Calais ) is Bishop of Nîmes .

Life

Robert Wattebled was ordained a priest on May 26, 1974 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Nîmes on January 30, 2001 . The Bishop of Arras , Jean-Paul Maurice Jaeger , donated him episcopal ordination on April 1st of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Raymond Bouchex , Archbishop of Avignon , and Henri-François-Marie-Pierre Derouet , Former Bishop of Arras . As a motto he chose À cause de Jésus, pour la multitude .
