Gérard Antoine Léopold Daucourt (born April 29, 1941 in Delémont ) is Bishop Emeritus of Nanterre .

Life

Gérard Antoine Léopold Daucourt was ordained a priest on June 26, 1966 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Troyes on February 1, 1991 . The Archbishop of Besançon , Lucien Charles Gilbert Daloz , donated him episcopal ordination on April 14 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were André Pierre Louis Marie Fauchet , Bishop of Troyes , and Pierre François Marie Joseph Duprey MAfr , Secretary of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity .

After retirement, André Pierre Louis Marie Fauchet followed him on April 4, 1992 as bishop of Troyes after. On July 2, 1998, he was appointed Bishop of Orléans . He was appointed Bishop of Nanterre on June 18, 2002, and was introduced to the office on September 22 of the same year.

On November 14, 2013, Pope Francis accepted his early resignation due to health issues.
