Robert von Schalburg

Ernst Heinrich Ludwig Robert Schalburg , from 1895 from Schalburg (born March 11, 1831 in Rostock , † August 31, 1896 in Schwerin ) was a Mecklenburg manor owner and agricultural functionary.

Life

Robert von Schalburg was the son of the secret commercial councilor Albrecht Schalburg and his wife Lisette, nee. Praised. After graduating from high school in Rostock, he studied agriculture at the agricultural college in Poppelsdorf . In 1853 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating, he became the owner of the Herzberg manor . He was chairman of the agricultural trade association for Mecklenburg , the association of small farmers in Mecklenburg and the patriotic association in Parchim as well as the civil chairman of the substitute commission of the Parchim evacuation district.

In 1895 he was raised to the nobility . He was the holder of the Crown Order and Commander of the House Order of the Wendish Crown and an honorary citizen of the city of Parchim.

Schalburg was married to Ida Heukendorff.
