Robert von der Marwitz

Robert Apollinar von der Marwitz (born July 23, 1837 in Langbusch near Karthaus ; † February 25, 1897 on a trip to Frankfurt / Main) was a German administrative officer and parliamentarian.

Life

Robert von der Marwitz studied at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University . In 1859 he became a member of the Corps Lusatia Breslau . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service and became a government assessor. In 1875 he was appointed district administrator for the district of Lyck . He sat from 1879 to 1888 as a member of the constituency of Gumbinnen 6 (Oletzko, Lyck, Johannisburg) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party. In 1888 he was probably transferred to the government in Gdansk as a councilor . Most recently he lived as senior councilor a. D. in Berlin .
