Roberto Marcelo Castrillo García (born June 30, 1941 in Guanajay ) is a former Cuban sports shooter .
successes
Roberto Castrillo took part in three Olympic Games in the skeet . In 1972 he finished fifth in Munich , four years later he did not get past 30th place in Montreal . At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow , he and four other competitors achieved the best of 196 points. In the subsequent jump-off, he hit all goals in the first round, as did Kjeld Rasmussen and Lars-Göran Carlsson, and thus secured a medal. In the second round, Rasmussen was again without a miss, while Castrillo only hit 23 targets. Since Carlsson only missed one goal, Castrillo received the bronze medal. This was a Cuban's first medal in an Olympic shooting competition. At the Pan-American Games he won bronze in Mexico City in 1975 and in 1983 in Caracas in both singles and silver with the team.
